Tom Skelton

Tom has more than 25 years healthcare IT experience starting out in 1981 as a partner in Elcomp Systems, a leading provider of software and services to physician’s offices and clinics.

After relocating with his family to Raleigh, NC in 1995, he served as a member of the senior executive team at Medic Computer Systems. Following the sale of Medic to Misys, Plc in 1997, he was named COO of Medic and ultimately promoted to CEO a short time later.

During his tenure, Misys Healthcare grew its revenue from $260 million to almost $600 million. In addition to serving on the Board of Directors of Misys, Plc, he presently serves on the Board of Microfocus, Plc, the Wake Education Partnership, and the Robert Morris University School Of Nursing.

Mr. Skelton earned a B.S.B.A. from Robert Morris University.
